We are the gyrators
In the stone age, the technology remained the same not just for one person's lifetime, but for thousands and thousands of years.Nothing ever happened. Even with a medieval farmer; he did what his father did, and his child would do the same.
Our lives bear no resemblance, in hardship, pain, or danger, to the lives of our grandparents as today everything is available over the internet. Ones's curiosity can be matured online. Newbies can enhance his/her capabilities, in addition to schooling. And I think it is becoming a necessity.
Kids today are playing around with software in ways their grandparents might have experimented with electricity or engines.
This is the greatest time in the history of the world to be alive.
In our lives, everything is happening. And it's not taking a lifetime, or even a decade. As you'll see technologies evolves, and it only takes a year.
We are the gyrators: we revolve around 'it', we evolve 'it', and in return 'it' revolve around our lives. Surely, 'it' is the Technology.
