DAY 5 | Mobile Networks [VAP]
Date: 23rd January 2015 For today the main speakers were Mr. Krishna Sirohi. Mr. Krsihna Sirohi He talked about the process how the call is made , or it is received in a GSM network through sequence diagrams available at eventhelix.com . He told us about the Slotted Aloha Mechanism to share same channel, GPRS. His colleage student Dishant Chitkara gave presentation on the LTE(4G) networks talking about its architecture and explaining each component of architecture individually. Dishant Chitkara Today's session was very much understandable as most of the explanation was done on the basis of sequence diagrams for Location Update, making of cal,reception of call. The detailed description helped in way to get some idea hat was actually happening. The LTE(4G) Network explained by Dikshant Chitkara was quite impressive.
